We recognize that you expect privacy and security for your personal  affairs. We understand the need to safeguard our sensitive information about you that you have entrusted to us. We maintain standards and procedures designed to prevent misuse of this information.

  •  Our Collection, Retention and Use of Customer Information

We collect, retain and use information about you only where we reasonably believe that it will help us administer our business or provide products, services, and other opportunities to you.  We collect and retain information about you only for specific business purposes, and we will tell you why we are collecting and retaining it upon your request.  We use information to protect and administer your records, accounts, and funds; to comply with certain laws and regulations; to help us design or improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs and provide you with quality products and superior service.

The information we learn from you when you visit our website helps us personalize your online experience and continually improve your overall experience with Metroalty.  Because of the unique nature of Internet transactions, there is some additional information you should know about information gathering through our website:  

Web Tracking:  We do not gather information on individual users on our website. We do collect and store information about the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, the Internet address of the website from which you linked to us, the pages you visit on our site and the type of web browsing software and operating system you are using to view our site.  Other than that, we collect information on visitors only in the aggregate and use it for internal review purposes only.  This information enables us to tell which areas of the site are of the most interest to our users, which avenues of site promotion are most effective, and when peak times are.

Email:  Our web site does not require you to disclose any personally identifying information.  If however, you choose to contact us via email, please keep in mind that our email address and any other information your email header shows about you, such as your name or organization, will be revealed to us in the email. Also, it is important that you realize that email is not secure and may be intercepted by other third parties without your permission. Applications/Transactions:  If you submit an online application we may enter the information you send into our electronic database. We may also use the information to contact you for additional information or for clarification.  

Cookies:  Like many leading websites our site uses “cookies”. A cookie is a small piece of information which a website stores on your web browser on your PC and can later retrieve. A cookie is a way for a website to recognize whether or not you have visited the site before. A cookie cannot be read by a website other than the one that set the cookie. Metroalty has implemented specific procedures and security levels that limit employee access to personally identifiable information to those employees with a business reason to know such information about you.  We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operation procedures, specialized training programs, and the Metroalty Code of Ethics. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.

We maintain security standards and procedures to help prevent unauthorized access to confidential information about you.  We update and test our technology to improve the protection of our information about you and to assure the integrity of our information.

At Metroalty, we:

    • Are bound by a Code of Ethics requiring confidential treatment of customer information and our associates are subject to disciplinary action if they fail to follow this code.

    • Maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect customer information.

    • Continually assess new technology for poretecting infromation and upgrade our systems when appropriate.

  • Maintaining Customer Privacy in Our Business Relationships

From time to time Metroalty contracts with outside vendors and other business partners to perform specific services for Metroalty.  When doing so, Metroalty selects business partners and vendors that adhere to similar privacy standards as that of Metroalty.  We expect that our business partners and vendors will honor and safeguard any information regarding a Metroalty customer(s).  

  • Maintaining Your Privacy in Business Relationships with Outside Third Parties

Sometimes it is necessary to provide personally identifiable information about you to a third party, such as to a vendor or service company that we hire to prepare your account statements or to provide support or services for one or more of our products.  These vendors and service companies agree to safeguard our confidential information about you.  Further, vendors and service providers are contractually obligated by Metroalty to maintain the confidentiality of the information disclosed to them and restrict the use of the information to the stated purpose of the contract.
